-
The Kids Voice Academy follows our semester schedule and runs for four months. This allows students enough time to build skills, grow in confidence, and prepare for the end-of-semester showcase.
-
The Kids Voice Academy Showcase takes place at the end of each semester in April, August, and December. Exact dates vary each year and are announced well in advance so families can plan ahead.
-
Every class is designed specifically for the students' age and stage of development. Depending on the class level, students explore music through singing, movement, rhythm games, ear training, age-appropriate vocal technique, and activities that help them understand healthy singing. Throughout the semester, students also prepare a song to perform at the Kids Voice Academy Showcase.
-
When you register, our scheduling system labels this as a "sign-up fee," but it is actually a semester materials fee.
This fee helps cover the new music, classroom materials, and learning resources used throughout each semester, allowing us to introduce fresh activities and age-appropriate content as students continue to grow.
Beyond this fee, there are no recital, costume, or other surprise fees.
-
Yes! Families receive 10% off tuition for each additional family member enrolled at Batschi Vocals.
-
Not at all! Our classes are designed for beginners as well as children with previous musical experience. Students are placed by age so instruction is always developmentally appropriate.
-
That's perfectly okay! Many children begin the semester feeling shy or unsure about singing in front of others. Our classes are intentionally designed to create a safe, encouraging environment where children gradually build confidence at their own pace.
-
For young children, group learning provides unique benefits. Students gain confidence alongside peers, develop listening and teamwork skills, and learn through games, movement, and interactive activities. As students grow, our curriculum prepares them to transition confidently into private voice lessons.
-
Students are placed primarily by age so that instruction matches their stage of vocal and musical development. If you're unsure which class is the best fit, we'd be happy to help you choose.
-
Parents and caregivers participate in Music Dreamers (ages 2–3). For the older classes, students attend independently while parents are welcome to wait in the lobby.
-
We understand that life happens! While we encourage consistent attendance to help students get the most from the program, tuition reserves your child's place in the class rather than individual sessions, so missed classes are non-refundable and makeups cannot be guaranteed. To help students stay on track, your instructor will post a weekly class summary, recordings used in class, and any practice assignments in the Student Portal. If Batschi Vocals cancels a class due to illness, weather, or an emergency, we'll provide a makeup class or account credit.
