This is my final semester teaching at Batschi Vocals, and I am going to miss working with such wonderful students! You have taught me about kindness, diligence, resilience, and so much more. All of you have amazing gifts that contribute to your singing and acting, and you also have incredible skill that you have worked so hard to develop. I hope you continue telling stories through your voice. The world needs your voice, your passion, and your heart!

Howard Thurman, a philosopher and civil rights leader, said, "Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and then go do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." Singing and acting make me come alive, and I'm so grateful I've been able to spend time with you exploring those crafts. I've enjoyed learning with you and seeing each of you come alive in your own way. I challenge you to continue pursuing what your heart desires, whatever that may be! Don't spend energy on experiences, places, or people that drain life out of you. Do what fills you up. 

I will be cheering you on always, and I'm so excited to see where you go and what you do. You deserve good things.
