Tiffany Snell

Teens Only · Beg/Int · MT/Classical

Tiffany is a native of Cache Valley where she was born and raised in Providence, Utah. With her mom and older sister who were also singers, her love of singing and music developed at a very young age. The first thing she remembers listening to is her parents cassette tape of the original cast of “The Phantom of the Opera” on road trips which kickstarted her love of musicals. She was asked to sing her first solo at age 6. Her parents decided this was a talent she needed to cultivate and let her quit piano lessons to begin voice lessons at age 11, which was also the year she did her first community production. Instantly the theatre became a second home for her.

Tiffany has participated in and won awards for classical singing competitions, and musical theatre competitions. She was one of 10 finalists in the state of Utah Sterling Scholar Competition in the category of Vocal Performance. She has participated in many shows, but some favorites include playing Cosette in Les Miserables, Mabel in Pirates of Penzance, Fiona MacLaren in Brigadoon, and Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors.

After receiving many scholarships to pursue musical theatre, she felt her heart called back to Cache Valley and chose to attend Utah State University, receiving a Bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies in 2019. While at USU she continued vocal lessons and was the soprano section leader for the Logan Institute Singers Choir where she met her husband, Hyrum. One of her current favorite experiences is judging the UHSAA Drama Competition each year. Seeing the amazing talent and passion the high school students give to performing brings her so much joy. It has been her absolute dream to work with adolescents and now she feels like all her dreams are coming true!

She is the mother to one boy and two girls who constantly keep her on her toes. When she’s not singing the Frozen soundtrack to her daughter, she loves to bake and cook, listen to a good audiobook, exercise, and find new ways to decorate her house!
